I had a great weekend. It was jam packed busy. Friday I got off cause I had a guest from out of town in town and we did last minute shopping for the bridal shower for my sister. Saturday was the bridal shower and it was a lot of fun! We had about 35 guests and everyone enjoyed the games. There was this one ice breaker game where you put a name tag on everyone's back of someone famous and they have to ask others question so they can figure out who they have. It was funny cause my cousin who is around 35 years old got Winnie the Pooh and she figured out she had a Disney character and named every single Disney character except Pooh!! I got Gwen Stefani but couldn't figure out for a looooong time. Then Saturday nite my sister's friends took her out to a club in Beverly Hills called Joya. It was fun!! They played good music...well some good some just OK. But the guys were really aggresive there!! One grabbed onto my hand and wouldn't let go and then my friend Drina had to help me out. And they kept bugging us and poking at me. What losers I tell you!
Then Sunday I met up with Dana & Al and we went to Jerome's wedding which was at the Mission Inn in Riverside. It was a nice wedding and the reception was pretty elegant. They gave us crackers and cheese, had this delicious strawberry punch, salad, chicken with vegetables (healthy!!) and a really yummy cake. As a give away, they gave this small frame with the couples picture in it and hershey kisses. They best part was it was nice getting to spend some time with Dana & Al!
Now back to work. Darn!

I was so happy to hear Lakers did magnificient at yesterday's game! I unfortunately didn't get to watch the game cause I had dance practice for my sister's wedding. I really really really hope they win tomorrow too! Lakers you can do it!!!!

My weekend was good...my sister's fiancee wasn't home cause his friends took him to Las Vegas for a bachelor's party. I wonder what they did in Vegas? Unfortunately none of his friends will tell!! My sister had to study for some exams this weekend so we didn't go out much. Saturday night we went to go see an Indian movie in the theaters. Indian movies are becoming more popular cause I saw this Indian movie in an Edwards Theater in Anaheim Hills! It's cool how American theaters have the Indian movies...they can guarantee a lot of money that way. India is one of the biggest movie industries in the world so I think these theaters will definitely benefit from showing Indian movies. It was a good movie!

Everything is almost set for the wedding except for my outfits. I don't have matching jewlery yet! So I need to go shopping at the Indian stores. I have 4 outfits that I need to get matching sets for. Darn that's gonna get expensive!!

DUUUUDE that was an awesome game!!! Huh?
Kobe was on FIRE!!! He had some really nice shots and after half time, he showed Spurs who was boss. YAY!!!
Though I'm so sad...I'm FIFTH on the pool!! Mel!!! Make me first!
Even Roland is beating me now!! Uh-oH!!

Oh my gosh!! Finally people saw that Fisher should really be noticed! YAY him!!!!! That was such an exciting moment for probably the whole country who was watching this game cause whoever wins this series is very likely to win the championship!! WHOOHOO!!! Please Lakers win tomorrow!!!!!

I kinda wanted Kings to win cause it would have been so fun seeing the Lakers vs. Kings again like a couple years ago. Plus I think Kobe should have gotten MVP!!! Oh well...it was interesting game cause at the end the score was that Kings were down by 3 and it was their ball so they could have tied it with Minnesota and went into overtime but they kept losing the opportunity cause Minnesota was playing good defense but finally ball went out of bounds and Kings had it and they only had like 0.25 seconds or something left and I'm like yea right you can't pull a Derek Fisher! haha And they didn't! Webber missed! Go Fisher!!!

My sister's wedding is like only 11 days away!! I don't want all this excitement to end though! Today we had to leave our house and come and stay at my cousin's till the wedding is over. His family is coming and they need the space plus it's not good for the bride to live with the groom few days b/4 the wedding. It'll be fun! It'll be like a slumber party with so much excitement and anxious and excited people! Though I'm gonna miss my toilet.

Dude there is a rooster that lives near my cousin's house!! And you know what that means!! Yes it cock a doodle doo's all morning!! So annoying!! My cousin said that they and their neighbors are trying to track that rooster down but don't know who is the owner or if it even has an owner. My cousin called animal control and they said that you need to track the person who owns it and then we will get rid of it cause it is illegal to have rooster's in that city because rooster's are farm animals. This morning it wasn't being that bad...I woke up and didn't hear it and then while I was finishing getting ready I heard it but I think my sister was fast asleep so she couldn't hear it but with me once I wake up I have a hard time falling back asleep so come Sat and Sun morning I'm gonna go nuts! My cousin said the best way to catch the rooster is by throwing a box over it...I wonder if rooster's bite???

Yesterday I wasn't feeling well at all...I had a sore throat and runny nose and right before the wedding too!! I was so tired yesterday...I left work a little early...at like 4:45pm...so 15 mins early!! haha At least I got a cold a week before the wedding and not the wedding day! Phew!

Lakers play Minnesota tonite @ 6pm. That's soo early again!! I'll be driving home. Go LAKERS!!! Kick some Timberwolves butt! Go FISHER!!
