It's been a busy week for me so far...I need (or want is more like it) a vacation!! Phuong can I come to Hawaii with you & John? hehe J/k!! Have fun btw!
Last weekend my nieces and I met up to practice our dance for my sisters' wedding reception. We are doing a medley of 3 Indian songs and the last song will have my whole family in it. It's gonna be fun!! Dancing in front of a lot of people does not excite me but they are making me!! AH!!

Aren't Lakers having a great time right now?!?! WHOOHOOO!!! They are playing so well. I'm so bummed cause some of my friends went to the Lakers vs. Jazz game on Sunday and I didn't get to go...I wanted to but tickets were $90 each!!! That's too much for me. And my friend told me that his seats were like wayyyyy at the top...can you imagine, $90 for the worst seats?!?! GEEZ!!!

I had a nice weekend. It actually didn't go by that fast too surprisingly! It was a strange weekend in that it was very cold again and rained! SO we went from like 90 degrees to 60's. Strange. But today was such a nice, gorgeous day!
On Saturday we had our family dance practice again and this time they were teaching my cousins (the adults) the dance and it's cute how they start to giggle when they dance. Then at nite, me, my sister, and her fiancee went to have sushi. It was deelicious!! Oh and I saw this movie called The Rundown....not too bad of a movie.

Today (Sunday) my sister and her fiancee had some friends over for a bbq cause her fiancee bought this HUGE bbq. It was yummy. But that brought flies in to the house cause we had left the backyard door open. And so the flies are just chillin' on the walls. Luckily it's not too many but they are still so annoying.
It was so embarassing cause the backyard door's screen door part is broken so we can't use the screen so either the door is completely open or closed. Well I was going outside and didn't notice that it was closed and BAM I slammed into the door in front all their friends everyone was like oh my gosh and laughing!!! That was sooooooooooo embarassing!!!!!

Oh and I made my 7-layer dip for their bbq and everyone liked it!! And it reminded me of Phuong cause I remember she really liked my dip. Hope your having fun in Hawaii!!

So Sunday during the BBQ many flies came in the house and starting hanging out on the ceiling. Well my sister was at home all day yesterday and she was fed up with the flies, as was I but I wasn't home cause I had to go to work. Flies are annoying cause one followed me in the bathroom...I can't have him watching me shower!!! EWwwwww!!
So my sister started her rampage and she actually was able to get rid of most of them. What happened was that as the night progressed, the flies started getting weaker and weaker. So swatting them was getting easier and easier. She was also able to trap some in-between the window and blinds and also she got 2 trapped under a plastic cup and got some trapped in the closet!! I was also able to swat one that managed to follow me to the bathroom and I was having an interesting time chasing it down. I've noticed that flies like light...no light no happy fly.

One thing I've noticed in this new house is that crickets like it. I've already seen 4 that have come in the house!! The worst was on Friday. I woke up and walked in my bathroom still really sleepy and all of a sudden I see a cricket!!! I got startled and then started throwing the rug on it...but no it didn't budge...it kept jumping. Now I know I'm not supposed to harm it cause my culture, as is in many cultures, believe that the cricket brings $$$ and good luck into the house. So luckily my sister's fiancee was awake and I called him and he started to try and get it out of my bathroom and we finally were able to trap it under the toilet plunger! And he scooped it up and yay no more cricket. I hate insects!!!!!!!

Other than that, my weekend was pretty good and busy. Saturday me, my sister and my niece went shopping in downtown all day. We went to Chinatown to get more stuff for the bridal shower since the theme is Asian. We bought 40 pots and bamboo and rocks to put together as a party favor and bought lanterns and fortune cookies. All for so cheap! And then we went to the fashion district and got jewlery for really really cheap! Downtown rules!!
Today I had dance practice in the morning with my friend and then dance practice in the afternoon with my family. I then drove over to Toan's birthday dinner. I wish I could have eaten there, the food looked soooooo yummy! It was so nice seeing my friends again. And Roland , welcome home!! And thanks for the postcards!! And thanks Dana for the postcards too!!!!

I just love when Friday's come around. Everyone is so much cheerier! Well at my work place, everyone is happy all the time but still...YAY!!!
I'm so happy cause they just recently opened up a Coffee Bean in Chino Hills!!!! YAY!!!! That's exactly what I've been wanting and it came!!!!! They have the yummiest coffee in my opinion. I love the white chocolate dream latte....mmmmmmmmmm

Oh yesterday me and my sister were going out to get dinner and at the place we were going to there was a bad accident! It looked horrible! We heard the people in the food place say that a car was turning left and hit a motorcycle which had 2 people on it and they were flown off the motorcycle!!! See people need to be more careful. Scary!

The best part of my day today was that Roland came down and had lunch with me. We went to Kabuki's a sushi place. I hope you liked it!! I'm glad he moved back...now remember to listen to what I said about moving again... And YES!! I got to sit in his babe magnet!!!! WHoohoO!!! I was special for a whole 7 mins!! Thanks Roland!
