Legoland was soooooooo much fun!!! I think the best part was seeing everyone cause we always have a good time together. I also liked that robot building activity we did, I wish I could get one at home!!! Okay next birthday, who's gonna get it for me?
It's amazing what billions and billions of lego's & a lot of patience with them can create!

Then dinner at the Japanese place was fun too! It was all so yummy! Except when I put too much of that green stuff (what's it called again??? looks like guacamole) in my mouth! Oooh was that not fun!

I hope we all can meet again real soon.

I had a good weekend. Why does it always have to go by so fast though? haha Oh well... Looking forward to the next one!
On Wednesday late night, my sister's fiancee's (Nirav) family came down to stay with up. His sister, her husband, their really really cute little baby girl Isha, live in San Jose and his mom moved up there with them to help take care of Isha. On Thursday night when I got home, Nirav's sister made this yummy turkey meatball dish, we watched Apprentice and then played this really fun board game called Cranium. It was the girls against the guys and we won!! On Saturday we had all my family and all his family, about 50 people over for a house-warming prayer at our house. Basically a priest comes and does a prayer (it's called a puja in Hindi) and blesses the house and that way the house and owner will have a happy life there. Then Saturday night we went to this new Indian fusion restaurant in Diamond Bar. The food was good but not the best. So it was so-so. Overall it was a great weekend and we got to hang out with Isha. She's around 20 months old (gonna be 2 in July) and the most adorable little girl!! She also says my name and says so much...like banana and apple, outside inside and knows all of her puzzles and loves drinking milk and juice! Healthy baby!! I can't wait till my sister has a baby!! haha

On Saturday was Shaq's birthday and look what they did for him.

My weekend was good...too bad it went by fast AGAIN! haha My sister's fiancee's mom was with us all last week and it was great. She is so nice. I even let her have my bed! I wish she could have stayed. She makes the yummiest food and it was just nice having someone else in the house. She left on Sunday. So Friday I went home and we just hung around the house. We were watching Pulp Fiction on tv...ewww that one scene with the girl overdosing!! Eh!!!
Saturday picked up my taxes and my sister and her fiancee's taxes and unfortunately I owe. Oh well...but they get $$ so YAY! Maybe it'll be a downpayment for a car!! Cause now me and my sister are sharing 1 car so it's gonna be difficult for a couple of weeks. It's funny how I took having a car for granted and now it's gone. How in the world do people get by without a car?!?! It's no do-able!
Sunday I met my friends from UCR at Banana Bay in Rowland Heights for dinner...it was yummy as always...but I was missing my other friends, Dana, Al, Jeff, Sze Wan, Phuong, John, Mel, Ryan, Roland...

Wow it was a really good weekend for me. But I feel so bad cause I couldn't make it to Sze Wan's birthday this year again!! My sister's best friend and her little sister (also really good family friends who we've known for 18 years) came over to help out with my sister's bridal shower planning. I woke up really early to pick them up at Ontario airport on Saturday morning and then we went over to Downtown LA fashion district for shopping. Well the theme of the bridal shower was Mardi Gras but we decided to change it to an Asian theme which my sister has really been into for a while now. So we (my 2 nieces also) went to Chinatown! It was so cool...I've never been there so it was fun. We are thinking about giving away, as a party favor, those lucky bamboo trees. It's actually pretty cheap to make so we'll just buy the pot it goes in and get a bunch of the of bamboo and little rocks. It's gonna be a fun theme cause we are also gonna put those cool lanterns around the house. If anyone has any ideas for this party, please do give! Then Saturday nite we had people come over and we made tostadas and had chocolate cake!!
On Sunday I had to wake up early again and we went to the Indian stores and Downtown Disney and then Macaroni Grill for dinner. The service there was so bad!! First it took them over an hour (when we had reservations!!) to seat us and then the food took like forever to come to us and my friend asked for no onions in her meal and they put onions, so we all got kinda mad and they gave us free dessert! $37 dollars worth of dessert!! hehe But we are all nice people so the waitress still got a really nice tip cause she was really nice about it all.
Then today, Monday morning, I had to wake up real early to drop my friends at the airport cause they took off back to Phoenix this morning. And then I came home showered and came to work so I'm really tired!! I hope it's not cause I'm getting old but cause of lack of sleep. I need some chocolate cake right now.

Lakers vs. Queens tonite!!! YAY!!! Game is in L.A. and starts at 7:30pm. All 4 players are playing tonite...well pending Kobe Bryant comes back from Colorado in time. Hopefully! Sacramento is doing so well right now but I know Lakers can kick their butt.
Unfortunately I have to miss the game.
