I really like sandwiches from Subway...especially their roasted chicken breast....yummy! Well tonite me and my sister went to get a sandwich after the Superbowl was done and when we got there I saw a new item in their menu. It was a wrap...and they said it was Atkins approved, which is a new kind of diet going on. The wrap actually looks pretty yummy but I don't really understand this new Atkins diet. I hear the diet says you can't eat breads and you have to cut out fruits and even tomatoes. I'm sure it works but oh my how could anyone go without eating bread and fruit..both yummy stuff!

My ex co-worker, Joyce, invited me to her Baha'i International event on Saturday. She is Baha'i (which is a religion which actually a lot of people have never heard about, and before I met her I never heard about it either) and her community in her city has this International event every year. It was really cool, met some nice people and the event had different types of dances and stuff. They had a Polynesian dance from an Island called Tonga. It's so cool cause these girls totally knew how to shake their hips! Then they had a foklorico ballet dance from Mexico and they had a couple of Indian dances. And they had so much variety of different foods. I even got to try this yellow Persian dessert. Joyce said since it's an International event people come dressed in their country's clothings so she told me to wear Indian. So I wore Indian and she and her family were dressed in Indian too. They are not Indian but Joyce's husband grew up in India.

And GO LAKERS!!!! I was so proud of them today BUT I was also disappointed in them. I can't believe they lost up a good lead during 4th quarter of today's game against the Toronto Raptors. They were down by 1 point and they almost blew the opportunity...but luckily the Raptors didn't make another point. Friday's came too they lost the lead and ended up losing to Minnesota...which was again so disappointing!! And oh Shaq was not very happy with today's game.

This morning has not been fun. First of all I had to wake up real early to get to work early. And it was soooooo chilly this morning, so when it's really chilly I like to wear these mittens I got as a gift (it's purple!!) and then go to my car. Well when I was going to my car, I had my tea in my big insulated mug and accidently slipped out of my hand and some of the tea fell on my pants, shoes, car and garage floor! MAN!!! And it got on my new mittens!! AH!!! Then I was taking leftovers from last nite to work and the top was not shut properly and food spilled on my shirt that I had just gotten dry cleaned cause it's a dry clean only shirt. So I had to go back upstairs and change my shirt. What a waste of time!
So I saw the morning news and they said there was an accident on the 91 freeway so I took the road that goes thru the hills...and that ended up taking me a long time to work too cause of traffic there and then when I get to the other side (to Orange County), there are too many traffic lights and I hit all reds!
Then when I got back onto the 91 freeway, there was a brand new Lexus in front of me and traffic is flowing nicely so we are not bumper to bumper and all of a sudden it brakes! For no apparent reason!! And it braked really badly (and I wasn't even tailgating or anything) that I had to step on my brakes hard and I burned rubber! So there was smoke everywhere and the cars behind me almost hit me and one car had to rush onto the carpool lane and that would have been a nasty accident had I actually hit that stupid loser Lexus. I'm still shaky cause that would have been horrible if I hit a new car...and being a Lexus!! Now I know how accidents happen, by lazy irresponsible Lexus drivers! Anyways...so sorry for the venting!!

Lakers play tonite, they play Cleveland Cavaliers...so LeBron James. Unfortunately the next 5-6 games are early starting games so I won't make it home in time to watch. Awww.... Darn east coast time!

Oh on the radio I heard they were saying that Janet Jackson's stunt is the most searched event in the history of searching on the Internet...wow that's interesting. Even more than the 9/11 attacks!

My bee story:

Episode 1: One day me, my sister, and her fiancee were going out and we got into the car and right when I closed the door, I heard a buzzing. So I'm like oh there's a fly in the car. I looked at the window and it was a bee!! I was sitting in the front passenger seat and my sister's fiancee was sitting in the driver's seat. I practically jumped toward him and he's like don't freak out cause they only bite if you provoke them. So he opened the window and it left! Phew!!

Episode 2: We were cleaning the house and my sister had mopped the front door tile area and she had the door open so the smell could go out. Then after a while she went into clean the downstairs bathroom (which is near the front door) and she said there was a bee in there! So she closed the door. Then we left the door closed and said oh okay her fiancee can take care of it! hehe So then I was sitting at the dining table and there is 2 windows behind me and 1 to the left of me all facing the backyard and I heard a buzzing and I looked to the window to the left and there was a bee!! So I called my sister and she closed the blinds and trapped it in-between the window glass and blinds. We went and she opened up the bathroom door and the bee was gone!!! So we figured it escaped thru the bottom of the door since there is some opening. DUH!!! haha So then we went to the backyard and saw that the bee was stuck and trying to escape. After a couple hours we went back and the bee was not alive anymore.

Episode 3: Yesterday my sister called me at work and said don't come into the house thru the front door. And I said why?? And she said there are about 500 bees right outside when you open the door. And I'm like WHAT?!?! So I get home and go in thru the garage which sometimes we do and I got in and we opened the front door slightly and on the pillar right outside our house facing the door there was a big bunch of bees all looking like they were forming the shape of a honeycomb! Oh my gosh it gave me the shivers!! So then I went out last nite and saw it from the street and it still gave me shivers...it's so yucky and creepy!! So this morning I was hoping it would be gone but no...now we could see individual bees flying around. So then me and my sister went outside and it was still there and to our surprise, there was another surprise waiting for us. On her fiancee's car there was chocolate ice cream!!! Someone must have done that...meanie's!! So then me and my sister went outside again after an hour and we saw our neighbors across the street looking at my sister's fiancee's car and then we asked them, have you ever had bee problems? And we were taking them to the side and showing them the bee gathering from a distance and it was gone!!!!! Now there were only like 10-15 bees flying around. So they said call pest control but we did yesterday and they said it's like 200 dollars. So they said call city hall and they will take care of it for cheaper so we will on Monday. Phew!! But now I'm creeped out.
So my sister said 2 days ago we received a pest control coupon in the mail and now all of a sudden we need pest control...hmmm...so we are getting the feeling someone planted a honeycomb there and that's why bees were there and maybe it got really heavy and fell and they took it and planted it to someone else's house. It's a possibility!!

The more I try to like Chino Hills, the more it's getting harder too!
Oh well, that's my story! What an interesting start to a weekend!

Sunday's Laker game against Orlando was crazy!!! When I woke up (I woke up late) it was already half time and they were down.
And then I went to shower cause I had to go somewhere and when I got done getting ready it was 4th quarter and then started watching it. They were up again and then all of a sudden they were down by 3. It was getting intense!! And it was Laker ball and the shot that was meant for Fisher got directed to Fox and he made it!!!! It wasn't even a total arch ball, it was awesome that someone straight out of a long injury break comes and makes a great shot like that!!! GO FOX!!!! So then it was tie game and it was Magic ball and right when they took it out, the great Fisher game and stole the ball!!! It was awesome!!! I was sooooo excited! Fisher then passed it to Payton and Lakers scored 2 more points!!! There was still 4.1 seconds left and it was Magic ball but they probably made a mistake by passing it to a rookie, though he's a good rookie player, but Lakers played good defense and they time ran out! They definitely could not lose to Magic!! And they didn't! It was crazy, the Orlando crowd, when they were winning, was acting as if they were winning a championship game!!! The annoucer said that this was their first sold out game! Poor team! Everyone gets excited playing Lakers cause Lakers are so cool!

I missed last nite's Laker game but I heard they didn't play well...well it shows in the score! Poor Lakers...I'm sorry. The next Lakers game is next Tuesday!! Cause this weekend is All-Star weekend!!!! WHOOHOO!!!!! Go DEREK FISHER!! He's competing in the a shooting competition with WNBA player Lisa Leslie and a Lakers legend Magic Johnson!!! AHH! How exciting!! It's so exciting that it's at the Staples Center in LA this year! We haven't had it for soooo long probably cause there was no Staples Center so before, I think 20 years ago, it was at the Great Forum. But now it's at the cool Staples Center...what better place to have the NBA All-Star game then beautiful, warm, nice LA! I wish I could go!!!

How could he want to leave? It must be a rumor! I so hope they win championship this year!!! Then maybe he'll want to stay. But LA is the best place in the world to live! Don't go Kobe!!!

Fisher was sooooooo cool on Saturday at the NBA All-Star festivities. He competed in the RadioShack Shooting Stars with Lisa Leslie from the WBNA and a Lakers legend, Magic Johnson. They won first place!! There were 4 teams and they went last and I was on the edge of my seat routing for them! And Fisher made that awesome 3-pointer shot and they WON!!!!!
Then Fisher took the place of Payton in the 989 Sports Skills Challenge and got 2nd place! Good job Fisher my man!!! He was very close to winning but Baron Davis from the New Orleans Hornets won. But I'll excuse him since he's an LA native.

I sooooo wish I could have attended last nite's game. I heard it was good! And Shaq got MVP!!! I didn't get to watch it cause I went out last nite. I went to this restaurant call Tantra in Los Angeles. It was some Indian party and it was cool. But now I'm soooooooo tired cause I got back at 2am and then couldn't sleep last nite and had to wake up early as usual and now I'm at work. Go Lena!!!!

Wow I haven't posted in a while. Well not much going on with me. Except for the fact that I'm sooooooo excited that Lakers have won 4 straight games!! Go lakers go lakers. Did you check out the different style jersey's they were sporting on Friday? I think it's the original type of jerseys. I need to buy myself a white jersey of theirs, those are cool!!

And can you believe gas prices!?!?! I'm getting so worried cause I drive A LOT!! I mean A LOT!! Now the cheapest I am seeing is like $2.03!! GEEZ!! And it's still rising. I remember early last week it was $1.99 near my house and then the next day it was $2.03!! I hope we are not running out of gas!
I wonder how much it is in the east coast where Roland is? I can imagine how high it must be in San Jose and even Monterey where Phuong is!

My past weekend was good. I went to another Indian party. It was fun. Got to meet new people. They even had belly dancing there. Dude how do those ladies move their hips/belly like that!! Looks hard! It was raining so much that I think a lot of people probably didn't come cause of that...I enjoy driving in the rain, it's a bit of a challenge with the slippery roads and the crazy drivers. haha But I'm glad the rain is finally gone, I actually missed the sun!! YAY for sun!
