Today I thought it was just gonna be some of my friends going out for dinner and karaoking....well it ended up that a bunch of people came and they gave me a surprise birthday dinner! I was sooooo surprised and happy! =) It was the best surprise! My friends are the best!

We had dinner at Banana Bay in Rowland Heights...yum Thai food! And of course paparazzi was snapping pictures! I can't wait to see them!
Then we went to our usual karaoke place down the street and couple more friends joined in. All in all, about 17 people came for it. I feel loved! It's so cool!

And thanks to my close and dear friend Dana for planning and getting it together! You are the best!

My sister and her fiancee bought a house so we are moving soon! Ah it's so much work! Cleaning and packing and more cleaning...
I'm gonna miss my apartment...it's so centralized.

Once I move I'll take pix of the place and post them! And hopefully be having a house warming soon. PARTY!!!

Whoohoo it's my birthday!! And I've already been wished by 4 people and it's only 12:20! Awww!

I hope I have a good day today. My week wasn't all that good...my boss yelled at me for stuff I didn't do and the other boss said I took an hour in a half lunch when I always take only 45-50 minutes, and I'm allowed 1 hour. So I was mad! But phooey on him!
Thank goodness the weekend is 2 days away! But I LOVE that it's my birthday!!

Wow it was a spectacular day today! Started off by having pancakes with my sister...yum! Then went to work and there was a streamer that said Happy Birthday and gifts (whoohoo!) and my favorite, balloons!! I was sooooooo excited!
Then a while later, a lady came by with flowers and a balloon and there was no senders name or anything! I'm still curious to find out who got me flowers....so sweet!!!!!!!
Then my co-workers took me out to BJ's for lunch (it's a Chicago style pizza joint) and the waiter brought a famous pizooki (hot chocolate chip cookie with ice cream on it) and a candle! And my friends sang happy birthday!
Then there was chocolate cake waiting for me at the office...yummy!! I opened my gifts and my co-workers Joanne and Valerie got me a bracelet and Victoria's Secret heavenly scent...so sweet they are! YAY!!!!

Then tonite couple friends took me to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen and then we went to go shoot pool. It was an awesome day!

I wish my birthday was everyday. It feels so good to know people think of you

Wow who knew moving could be that tiring! This past weekend all me, my sister and her fiancee did was move stuff from our old apartment to my sister's fiancee's aunt/uncle's house (confusing huh? hehe) We are staying with them for a week until escrow closes and we get the house. It's taking forever! And it's annoying cause I feel it such a burden to stay at someone's house...but they are so nice to us and totally make me & my sister feel at home. Though the commute to work is now MUCH longer...it took me 1 hour 1/2 to get to work, but tomorrow I'm gonna try another freeway...hopefully it'll be better. But I love driving so I don't mind...what better way to listen to my CD's!

So Saturday all day we packed and cleaned and cleaned and packed. We had to throw out our sofa cause goodwill wouldn't pick it up and we didn't have a time or truck big enuf to take it, so we put it by the trash and within 5 mins it was gone! We later found out that some dude took it and he's gonna fix it up and sell it. Hey that's a way to make some $$$!

Saturday nite me & my sister got to take a break & went to a show that a friend of mine put on. He opened up this Indian dance studio and he has students and a dance troupe. It was a really good show. Check out his site if you have time: NDM Dance.

Then Sunday more packing and cleaning. And I got to watch some of the Emmys when we got home. YAY Everyone loves Raymond won some...but boo Friends didn't. I was also happy that Grace from Will & Grace won. I like that show!

Wow this has been a pretty fast week, thank goodness! I started commuting this week and it's a 50 mile drive...so with traffic it was pretty long. Monday and Tuesday it took me 1 1/2 hours and the rest of the week wasn't bad at all...took about a little over an hour. I actually like commuting cause you get to hear so much radio! Like this morning on KIISFM I heard about this Yoga Expo going on and I'm not gonna go but a friend and co-worker of mine is helping to put it on so that was cool that Rick Dees was talking about it. And then Big Boy is cool too on Power106.

The documents finally came and my sister's fiancee signed them yesterday so hopefully his loan will get funded today and then we'll get the keys to the house early next week...so it's another 1 week of commuting from Ontario but it's cool cause I really like the family we are staying with. And now they got this chihuahua (and I'm afraid of dogs) but I got used to him...his name is Pepe (like the Spanish name) and he's VERY trained! If he has to pee he sits by the window moaning until someone takes him out. And at nite, we ask him to get into his little seat and he'll take his blanket and cover himself...all by himself! Now that's a trained doggy!

My last weekend was pretty good. Friday nite went to a birthday party for one of the girls I met who works for the escrow company my work uses and that was cool cause they were playing some Spanish card game and it was cool...I put in $1 and won $8 and then stopped cause I was like up $7!! Whoohoo!! SCORE!!
Sunday nite I had to go to LAX to drop my friend at the airport...driving from the airport to Ontario is far. Man I used to live closer!

Yesterday one of my bosses took me into his room and told me that our company isn't doing as well as they were and since I'm moving far that I should probably look for a job somewhere else. So basically he laid me off. And honestly, I'm very very happy about it. I mean I was sad yesterday probably cause I'll miss some of the people here and the ladies at the escrow office & also cause I'm not good with change...but I'm really happy now cause move on to better and MUCH BETTER things...this job was useless anyways.

Today is my work's groundbreaking ceremony so hopefully they'll close the office early!
